Car Alarm

My girlfriend has a 98 Honda Civic with a factory alarm. The battery in the key pad is still good since the light still comes on I just want to know how to reset the alarm. When she bought it the original owner only had the cassette player but he replaced it with a Honda cd player if that info helps. Thanks.

If the radio he replaced it with was not from a 96-98 honda civic with factory keyless it will never work. on those particular cars the keyless works through the radio.
