First of all what kind of mpg are you getting? Did you sit down and calculate it? BTW: It goes 200 miles on $60 of gas is not MPG.

How many miles? Maybe its time for a new primary O2 sensor.

x2!! On my old honda I did new plugs, wires, oil change, and air filter change and gained 4-5 MPG.

thanks for all the help by the way. i have about 73000 miles on it. ive been keeping up with the oil changes. i was thinkin it was time for new air filter and i also heard new spark plugs would help. im not sure EXACLTY what my mpg is but usually if i start on a full tank i would get 350-400 until the light came on. and now i get about 300-320 from full tank until the light comes on.

    MANY things you can do:

    1. Raise the air pressure to 35-40psi
    2. dont shift pass 2k
    3. plugs
    4. wires
    5. fuel filter (if not in the tank)

You know you're driving habits can save you up to 20% more gas. If you drive with a lighter foot, braking and accelerating slower than you will save more gas.

Its the most sure fire way of saving gas but you still might wanna check your air filter, tired pressure, spark plugs, and fuel filter.
