Default Where to get VW keys cut?

Only got one set of keys with my GTI. Anyone know where to get additional ones cut other than stealership?

yeah only the dealer will do it. no one else will do it,,, but they will try to sell you a new one, ,, thats what happen to me , i took an uncut remote to roswell vw. but first i called about getting a key cut they said yeah we can cut it for 15bux , so i went for it , when i got there they told me that they could not cut it, and that i needed a key from them , that mine was useless (and it was new), cuz they had to program the remote and the key itself.

some locksmiths with the right tools will do it, but dont promise that it will work,

Where did you get it done for $150? The VW in Alpharetta wanted $280.
