    Default New project?

Ive had my eye on this beast for some time now, seen some pics of nicer ones and I like them honestly. Its a 72-73 Benz 220 Diesel. They seem to be nearly worthless, clean ones are selling for less than $3000 all day. I can probably pick this up for $100-$200.

Is this car worth messing with at all? I got past the fence today and went for a closer look, the paints peeling and rusting but I didnt get to close for because of all the crap grown up around it.

Id do something, because I know what it costs to keep an old diesel car like this up and running much less ones thats been sitting for years.

Get it and throw a nice V8 in it. Then boost it...

Id stick a carb'ed V8 in it just for the easy of working on it. I have no desire to mess with the old diesel, Ive worked on them before. This would take the place of my 94 Civic also.
