Try new plugs and check your codes. I think you plug in and count how many times the CEL flashes.....and you can have codes and no CEL, so I'd check them.

EDIT: Just saw you changed the ECU

you have gas in the tank, your gas meter not messed up right? When turning on engine, with key, does it want to start, or just completely dead? If so, your starter then...If not, check your fuse box, and replace any fuse necessary (ya know, starter fuse, ignition fuse, etc.) hope this help.

i found something while cleaning the ground...

theres a bracket that braces the engine wire harness that sits on the starter with a long 10mm bolt....i had not put that bracket on and decided to and it sparks a whole lot...

so now my question is...isnt the starte suppose to be grounded?

that bracket is somehow seeing power? so i need un
    wrap the loom?

not my car but you can see the starter^^ the one held by the long 10mm right under the plug....its sparking when i try to put the other piece on that braces the engine harness...

if the starter is installed properly then its grounded already. the big 12mm nut is the battery power and the small one is starter ignition signal, ground is by it being attached to the engine. if it sparks when you touch it then look around it for any open, loose, or unconnected bolts or wires that may be causing the spark
