cf hood help!!
i bought a carbon fiber hood a while back and it has hood pins in it and it had been spray painted.... ok well my hood has a big f*****g dent in it now thx to a friend tryin to save my windshield from a basketball by jumping on my hood. thx man!!! anywayz does anybody kno if it's ok to bondo cf? and what kinda paint do i need to use, (yea i'm gonna spray it and clear coat it) any help is greatly appreciated
carbon shouldnt dent. push that **** back out

and do CF hoods come with the frame supports underneath? if not, shouldnt it just pop back out like Bucky said?
o my bad i worded it wrong i guess. he jumped on my stock hood so now i'm puttin the carbon fiber hood on. it was already sprayed when i got it. the guy said the clear coat was peelin or s-thin. i got it cause tha paint on my stock hood was peelin and then the dent...
yeah you have to sand the old clear off the cf before you re-clear it just dont go too deep when sanding.

is there anyway to sand it back down and reclear the cf? so it will look like it's s'posed to? if so how much would it cost. it's on a 96 accord. if i do that though i guess i'll keep the hood pins...
yeah i had to get one done i paid like 100 for it. but get it done fast before it gets in to the gel coat!! just call some pait shops.
