Yes, I know of two people who have done it. One lasted 2 years, the other the guy sold the car after 3 months. The paper will be on the back side sandwhiched between the bearing and rod. Its not going to be on the crank where its spinning.

WAX paper Douche..NOT brown paper bag! BTW this is JOSHUAASE!!! A temp fix is to install new bearings, 1 size over an you can smooth the crank out just a hair if needed with sand paper, its GHETTO but works, an tighten it down an rock get rid of the car ASAP!....Also I used a peice of leather like a thin belt, before, take the bearings out..Soak the leather in oil over night to make it soften up, an install, will work long enough to sell/get rid of it..I dont reccomend selling it to anyone , but hey what ever helps you out.......If it was me I would try the oversize bearing sand crank down just to smooth it out alittle bit...an use 20 w50...later

I was told brown lol. I was also told of the leather belt trick today. I think Ill try the oversize bearing, Ive got a feeling Im going to have to smooth the crank out a little bit. Dont know why I didnt think of that.
