Default Reputable Honda shop near Athens/Monroe?

I am in need of a reputable shop that will diagnose a 82 Civic 5 speed and get me headed in the right direction. I have a ton of parts for it but don't care to get started on it until I get it running right.

It has a slight ski to it and when I drive it down the road it gets worse as it gets warmer. Almost like a head gasket but no signs of that yet. Tested everything but the compression so far but just don't have time to devote to it right now and wanting it drivable.

Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Checked the coil already? it could be bad to start with and then just get even worse as it warms up.

Are you kidding me? I haven't checked much of nothing on this thing. With the spare time I have I would rather take it to someone that can get it right for me while I am out working and making some $$$.

Anyone that cares to come over and play with it you are more than welcome. We will be in the shop during the daytime Thursday and Friday except for making parts runs.

This is what we are starting on Thursday if everything goes right. I have 4 more that I need to get done in the next few weeks so the Honda needs a lil outside assistance.

Are you talking about the one in Conyers? That's where I was thinking but wanted a few suggestions first.

Yeah but I dont think me and you are thinking about the same place. There is a Honda specialist shop here also but the guy that owns it is an azz and I dont recommend him for that reason.

Hey Chris, talk to Matt Yearwood. The guy that has the clean Rex and the Z at the Athens meets. He did all the work to my Civic when I had it, and I would recommend him to anyone. I don't know if he'd know anything about older honda's but it's worth a shot.
