I think both are answers are right and wrong.

What kind of setup are you looking for? N/A? Boost? Spray?

the f22b and the h23a have almost the exact same block and the exact same sleeves they like boost about the same just the f22 more bc of the lower compression...... if you want to go boost take the existing f22a1 and find a h23 head and put it on it..... then you have a Frankenstein motor with iron sleeves instead of frm sleeves.... but if you are not goin stricly boost and a clean daily i say h22 or h23

the heads are almost identical blocks are the major diffs. f22b has iron sleeves(thick as sh.it) holds up to 350whp safely on those sleeves. imo you dont need much more than that in a fwd car. only disadvantage to f22 is getting parts like the timing belt, you need the ecu also or to fabricate a knock sensor in for the h23 ecu. just do some research. i bought one from G.C the guy that posted in this thread, and he said it ran fine, but he sold me it after he broke it. one of the cam gears broke and f.ucked up the head, dont buy anything from him, he is shady as hell. also he wont answer my calls, great guy, not. gl though do some research!

h23 ecu will power the f22b... the h23 has a knock sensor it is the f22b that does not it has to be drilled and tapped which every motor selling site does that for you..... the timing belt and the water pump is the exact same as the h23... that is what hornsby and the guys at acura honda specialist used and i had no problem.... and from what i read the iron sleeves in the jdm f22b block is a myth that people get confused with the f22b1 that comes in a prelude s

ok, your a f.ucking dumb ass. pull both motors apart and learn something. f22 has 126 teeth on timing belt h23 has 127. 1 tooth makes a big diff, also waterpumps are different. oh and putting the knock sensor in isnt hard, but goodluck finding one for cheap, most go for over $100. you need to research before you open your mouth
