Just received a letter from the Court. Me and my mom both recieved it. This is whats said in it .

Criminal subpoena.
You are hereby commanded, that laying all other business aside, you personally be and appear at the Superior Court, Criminal Divison, before Judge Melodie Snell conner on the 18th Day of August, 2008, at 9:00A.M, Courtroom 1e, and remain in at tendance from day to day and term to term until the case is disposed of, there to testify and the truth say on the part of and in behalf of the State.

And the Question is, Is there a way to skip this thing? We both dont want to miss work just for this crap. I'm guessing this is some kind of Jury Duty?
