gsr tranny should say "V4D" or "VD4"...one of those two. my buddy has a 99gsr with a type r tranny...his also says "V4D" and "LSD"

so its just a regular gsr tranny then?? thats weird cuz i've had 4 gsr motors and this is the first time that i see this v4d..thought there might be special bout this..hahah...
is it like a newer gsr tranny or something??
if you can see the stamp real good it might just be a newer tranny
