    Default leaky clutch hydraulic line

    The small metal hose above my clutch slave cylinder is leaking, got a small puncture in it probably from rubbing against the chassis.

    I have a 93 del sol with a b18b/b16a2 ls vtec with a b16 transmission.

    pep boys said $91 labor for that but they don't even carry the part so **** that.

    Would i be safe just putting some epoxy or something on it?

    If not where should i get the hose?

    Go to Honda, buy the hose or pick it up from a junkyard or someone on here.

    Don't just patch it.

    I have to drive back and forth from Marietta to Atlanta every day next week and this is my only car.

    What can i do that's reliable/temporary?

    Nothing really that I can think of would be reliable/temporary

    If you have tomorrow off, it would be a great day to go to a junkyard. All you would need is a 10mm for the lines, an 8mm for the bleed valve, and a bottle of fluid...I think that's all...might need a pair of pliers, too.

    Any junkyards near Marietta anyone would recommend?

    the del sol has a 00 civic SI front end conversion so i think the lines might be that. If so would any EK/EBP clutch lines work?

    Pretty sure all 92-00 civics, 93-97 del Sols, and 94-01 tegs had the same hard line. MIGHT be a difference between them (someone chime in here), but to be safe, try to find a 92-95 civic or del Sol in the yard.

    Dammit marietta auto salvage is closed saturday and sunday.

    Thanks for the help I'll do my best to find this thing. Is anyone parting out a civic or del sol of this year?

    If you want, u can try to patch it. What is it going to hurt? It is leaking already. Try some JB weld, make sure that are is super dooper dry.

    just for temporary. go to advance auto buy break cleaner , and this glue called "SealALL". It is Gas+Oil Resistant and says you can use it on stuff with pressure in it. After you get it, clean it with break cleaner real quick and dry it. then put the glue on.

    you could fully replace it with a stainless braided line. i did and it works like a charm
