I started riding about two months ago. I bought a 2008 Yamaha R6. I sold it and bought a 2008 Ducati 848 Superbike and love it. I haven't dropped either. Not to say there haven't been close calls, but you've just got to be extremely careful and know when to play and when not to.

Just be extremely careful on whatever you decide to get.
