You can also google 'learning to ride' or 'good starter bike', and get opinions from both sides of the argument.
The bottom line is that it is safer to start small. If you know anything, then you already know that motorcycling is dangerous.
The new 2008 Ninja 250R looks almost exactly like a 636, and its a great starter bike.... so that is hardly a (good) excuse.I just want that bike in my garage to look at. Ya'll got to admit that color is hawt. lol
