nah im not really sure if i want to do a V8 swap to this truck. im kinda wanting it looking clean with the stock motor. but im getting another S10 in about 2 weeks that needs a crank kit i might just do that seeing that i have a complete 305 sitting in my garage

Yeah, when I had my integra I got smoked by a S10 w/ a SB in it......should've known when he a set slicks on the rear. He was fast tho.

From what I can tell the first gen longitundinal 2.8l v6 was an isuzu produced motor. Obviously the 4.3l wasn't so I would say no on the head swap working.
That engine is part of GM's narrow angle OHV series V6 engines. If you need a better head, look into the heads off the 3.1& 3.4L Minivan engines. They flow better.Originally Posted by jew_boy
