    Default b16 question

    i am thinking about buying a b16a2 from a guy and it runs strong but on the back of the valve cover where the nipple is, oil come's out there. what would cause this. i was told maybe the pcv valve is clogged up but i dont know. any help will be repped.

    wow....honestly man your gonna have to supply us with pics to fully understand what you talking about. If it is coming from the valve cover, might just be the VC gasket.

    see the little air filter on the back of the valve cover. thats where the oil is coming from.

    check ur oil level like no mo hondas said its probubly over filled

    take off filter see if appendage is crackedor c if clamp is loose. if its under that its vc gasket.

    If it is coming from there and your oil level is correct, then it is just your vc gasket like ^^^ said

    never mind, the retard said he for got to put the seals under the bolt's when he changed his valve cover gasket. and i think he is using the "my mom wont let me sell you the motor" excuss.

    Could be signs of blow by, pistons and or piston rings could possibly be going bad, but that's if it burns alot of oil as well and that you have to continue to add oil to the motor all most every day

    yea, i was going to trade him my b16a4 sir motor that has a bad transmission for his b16a2 with 185,000 mile's but his has a good transmission.
