Default Anyone wanna walk me through a B-series distributor replacement?

Honda-Tech has some write-ups but they're really vague and there seems to be some argument over certain aspects. Just looking for a no frills explanation of how to switch the sucker out... plus I'm a timing gun newbie... lol. I know its fairly simple, but I just want to be sure I'm not screwing my timing up.

very easy...Disconnect your battery , should be 2 10mm on the top post...then un plug the dizzy 2 connects they have a push type connector....take your cap off which is 2 screws phillip head or 8mm nut either or is fine...once you do that take your cap a lay it out of the way no need to disconect your wires leave them on...once you done that take a 12mm wrench an take out the 3 bolts holding it on...when you do that twist the dizzy an pull it out an take a ragg an lay it under the hole to catch the oil that comes out want be much but enough to make a mess...once the dizzy is out if your not installing a new rotor button then you need to take the old one off its a phillp head but be careful an not to strip it out, I use a impact screw driver that takes them out easy, if you dont have one make sure to use the right size screw driver an be firm by pressing it hard an turning..once you dont that it goes back on the same way an only one way...DonE? Ok install the dizzy only will go in one way once its on flush with the head line the hole for the bolts to the center part of the dizzy ear tabs , now install your 12mm bolts tighten then down but dont over tighten them, reverse the rest an your done...now need to use a timing light unless you just want too...Hook up the timing light to the battery red positiver black negative..an the timing cord clip it on the number one spark plug wire which is the 1st near the timing cover ...crank it up allow it to warm complete to normal with everything off no a/c radio etc..let it idle point the timing light to the crank from the oil power steering pump side on the crank you will see a red mark look on the timing cover there is a V groove line the red mark in the V groove an you can read the timing light from there... Hope this helped

Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.

I edited it a little bit so it'll be easier to read while im doing it

Disconnect your battery (2 10mm on the top post)
unplug the dizzy (2 push type connectors)
remove cap (2 phillip head screws or 8mm bolts - either is fine)
Lay the cap out of the way. No need to disconect your wires - leave them on
Remove the 3 12mm bolts holding the dizzy in place
Twist the dizzy and pull it out - keep a rag under the hole to catch the oil that leaks out
If you're not installing a new rotor button, you need to take the old one off - use an appropriately sized phillips head screwdriver and be sure to press firmly
The button goes back on one way and only one way.
The new dizzy will go in one way and only one way. Once its on flush with the head, align the holes for the bolts to the center part of the dizzy ear tabs
Install the 12mm bolts tightly, but not over-tight
Reverse the rest of the initial process and you're done

Hook up the timing light to the battery (red +, black -)
Clip the timing cord on the number one spark plug wire (the 1st near the timing cover)
Crank the car up, allowing it to warm completely to normal with A/C and radio off
Let it idle, then point the timing light to the crank from the driver's side
On the crank you will see a red mark - look on the timing cover and you'll see a V groove.
Line the red mark in the V groove, and you can read the timing light from there

i started doing this a few minutes ago, but ran into a couple of issues. First, its about to storm lol so I decided thats probably not the best time to be working on my ignition system. BUT before i noticed that, I'd removed the 2 upper phillips head screws no problem and disconnected the 2 harnesses... but then I ran into a problem. The top 12mm bolt holding the distributor in place will not budge, and it doesn't help that I dont have enough clearance to fit my socket wrench into that space. Do you guys use some sort of special socket to fit there? I dont have a particularly large tool collection, most of my nice tools were stolen out of the trunk of my car a few months back .

Heres a picture of the bolt and the area im talking about... not my motor, just grabbed it from google.
