i was just trying to compare the to motors. i mean they are both 4cylinder turbo's and wanting to see if they compare in reliablilty at all. also i was wondering if they were reliable as toyota period.

first, if you don't beat it, they get decent mpgs, boost=gas. second, they're not expensive to fix, and if you aren't a complete ass hat to it, you won't need more than routine maintenance.
