starting issues

i have checked everything. i have 11.5V to the starter, 10.4 coming back from starter. solenoid clicks but motor wont turn over. i have jumped the power straight from battery to solenoid and straight fom battery to starter motor. starter motor still wont turn. under no load it will turn. flywheel is brand new and engine is manually tunable. i am lost. any ideas? brand new starter

Check the charge on your battery, 11.5 volts is low. you should see about 13.4 across the battery with no load.

ummm yah when the cars running 13.4 is good. he cant get the car to start so since the battery is a 12 volt battery 11.5 is ok.

have u tried a different starter at all yet.

yes, i have tried 2 different starters, and both tested good at auto zone and advance, but i dont think those testers test them under load. i have not tried popping the clutch yet (lack of a hill ). if i had a bad ground, which i think it might be, where are all the ground located so i make sure i dont miss one?
