Default Need help with spindle nut

Ok, I'm still trying to get to my tranny to change my clutch. I finally got the ball joint issue solved. Now I've got another issue. I'm trying to get the spindle nut off. The driver's side came off fine, but the passenger side is messed up. Someone before me punched the locking part of the spindle nut in too far. And now I can't get it out. I've tryed a punch set, screwdriver and such but part of the metal is messed up and so I can't get anything wedged in there to pry it apart. Any suggestions?????

take a impact to it ...an break it off inside, once you get the nut off then you will be able to notch it out very easy then just buy you another pin later

yep, what he said ^^^, gonna be a ***** if you don't have power tools. i've always been able to pry the bent part ot with something, a chisel, small screwdriver, anything with a thin flat end.
