    Default Headlights mandatory during daytime?

    I would like to remove my headlights so that I could do a retrofit. But I do not want to rush things, and I do not have an extra car to drive around. Does anyone know if it's illegal to not have headlights during the daytime?

    What if it rains...I think it is law to have headlights on when it rains.

    I thought about that too, but all my parking lights would be functional and I also have fog lights.

    i would think as long as your turning signals and such works, it shouldn't be illegal. but im sure you'd get harassed.

    ... ~sigh~ ... Yes it is legal for you to remove your headlights. As long as you have fog/driving lights you during the day/rain you are "legal". But why?????

    You technically don't need turn signals as long as you stick your arm out the window and signal...

    I did my retrofit over a weekend back in 2004 and I simply did not drive LOL.


    As long as your lights (Fogs, Indicators and markers) are suitable for conditions you "should be" fine But...

    You must have headlights.Idk if its a law but my friend rode witout head lights for a while Dont think cops really paid attention.

    i believe headlights are needed at all times. Same goes for running lights, license plate light, wipers and brake lights. Turn signals are not needed though. We were gonna make our panoz street legal but decided not to.

    headlights are only required during the rain if your wipers are on.
