Yes you can move the dizzy but by so far...an you look at the lower timing cover there is a timing tab an then you use the red line on the crank pulley with timing light set the light to zero an then dial it in ...

Ah, so basically what you are saying is line up the red mark with the timing tab with the timing gun...
