    Default VW R32

Alright.. My brother's friend just bought a 2004 Volkswagon R32 from FL.

However, it does not pass emissions. Is there anyway he can pass emissions "illegally" like boosted Hondas? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Reps to any help possible.

    THanks

yeah if it's throwing a code then no unless you fix the problem and reset the readiness codes which they have to be set by a few drive cycles (basically driving the car around at 35 mph then 55mph for a set mileage) but getting it scanned is the first step as Paul said.

Hi, This is the owner of the R32.

Car has VF stg2 s/c with C2 software and larger injector.

Original VF software suppose to pass emission but previous owner upgraded to C2 software that does not pass emission.

Called C2, They are saying it suppose to pass because they didnt modified any emission modules on their software. Well its not passing! No CEL.

They ended up stop supporting me, ignoring me because they didnt have a solution. Not recommend C2 Motorsport.

So, I'm trying to go back to VF/GIAC original software.

It just really annoying that I couldnt get a license plate on my car since I bought the car like 3months ago.

    Tae.

I already took my car there and Ryan(head tech) spend 2 hrs to find out whats wrong with the car, nothing was wrong with mechanical parts, he was thinking maybe the software having issue.

I'm going to Import Performance Group@fayettvile next week to go back to GIAC setup, I was gonna go to Eurotech but the guy at IPG had a VF stg2 original parts that were taken off from his Stg4 R32, so I'm going to take my car there and have done.

Maybe later I upgrade to GIAC race file and install a meth inj kit or go with VF new RSS turbo kit.
