    Exclamation i need help NOW!!

today im going to look at a 240sx and i need to know if its a good idea. i have around $1300 to spend on this car, but ive been informed i can spend around 2 grand all-out max. the 240 is 1300 with a messed up frame and major positive camber that eats up tires.

    heres what i got.

its a black 1997 HX 2dr with about 190k on it. stock motor and trans, (btw is auto), and the person who had it before me drove it like a stick, which explain why i only have 2nd and 4th. reverse sometimes. honestly i dont believe in automatic transmissions, but this is how i bought it.

17 in 10 spoke icw rims
    magnaflow exhaust
xplode cd player and wiring for a system
ghetto red on OEM grey rattle can painted interior
bent hood with large paint chips.
blue trunk light(?) i think it looks cool.
atm im forced to drive a 1990 F-150 until i get it back from getting fixed AGAIN... but hey, you get what you pay for. i really cant complain for $500.

so it comes down to this..

    should i buy another car?
or should i invest it into the civic?

im trying to get a 240sx, but my father keeps telling me to invest in the civic.

so basically im torn between getting a 240 or fixing/projecting the civic.

    shiznit.

    any advice?????

some help would be greatly be appreacitated mane.

    my AIM is killallposers88

take some of that money and convert the civic to manual, after you buy the 240 your going to have to fix the "frame" which this is a unibody so its perma****ed already and 240s are prone to wiring problems. so just put your money in the civic

get a auto tranny for a d series at a junkyard for less then 200

    sell the car for 3k

then buy a proper 240sx and be a douche like all the other 240 owners

i hear ya on the uni body.
im going to school in the fall to be an "auto repair specialist", or fix my broke shyz professional.
if i put money into the civic itll be a 5 spd and a newer engine.
    lowerd and painted

there are paint chips the size of a human head in the hood and a hole in the front bumper, and cracking in the back bumper.

its a car thats a total POS but has sentimental value bc its the first car ive EVER had in 4 years that has had AC

ah, a body man. im starting school for ase certification in like 6-8 months or so... but yeah deff. keep the Honda, I have 3 friends with 240s and the are constantly fixing something like wheelstuds, some kind of wiring, general bs, I have a 95 civic eg8 dx auto (soon to be manual) with 208,000 original miles on it and it just won't die. I've tried to blow it up on multiple occasions (before I took my spare engine apart to rebuild) and I couldn't do it. it dosent even leak or burn a drip of oil

Keep searching for a car. Trust me there are PLENTY of cars out there for a good price. Just be patient.

I bought my 91 240sx SE with no frame damage, a clean body, great engine, and decent interior (aside from no carpets) for $1200. If you wait, they will come. People are trying to jack the prices on 240s cause they're the new civics, but if you wait it out, you will find someone who is just trying to get rid of one (like mine).

Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.

Stay off the bandwagon and buy something other than a Civic or a 240. Later, QD.

^i could complain a lot. And you will figure out how to also when everything starts failing or breaking on it. If you get a 240, make it a really early one. Look elsewhere though. Starion/Conquests are kick ass cars for about 2k and they are boosted.
