Default ITR vs. Skunk 2 Manifold for b16

Last weekend me and my father insatalled some ITR cams into his b16 along with ITR springs and retainers on both the exhaust and intake side. While it did show improvements, it's only nature to want to go faster

My question is which intake manifold should he go with? The stock ITR or the Skunk2? We've read that the ITR has longer runners and is only effecient with the 1.8 motors and the stock b16 manifold is better on a b16 than an ITR manifold. Dont jump on my A$$ is this is wrong information, it is just something we came across on H-T.

It's an OBD0 b16 with a JG header and 2 inch exhaust, AEM CAI and ITR cams. We have an ITR throttle body that we're looking to install with whichever manifold we choose.

Looking for any and all input, and any proof, i.e. dyno comparison, would be of great help.

    Info on deck.........go!

With a B16 i would go with the ITR intake manifold(62mm opening), if you have an ITR throttle body(62mm) the ITR intake manifold would match perfectly. I dont really think a B16 would really flow enough air for the skunk2 intake mani(64mm opening). Thats just my opinion.
