We have a 96 acura 3.2 TL that just had a headgasket and thermostat replaced. Now when either letting it idle or running the fans will not turn on unless the AC is on or the car it self is off.
I checked all of the fuses... any idea??

i believe they kick on and off as needed, i know that my friends accord does that. It can sit forever before it turns on, but i also could be wrong. My 03 TL also did that. It only kicked the fan on when it needed. Im not sure how long you have let it sit running or w/e but unless it just never does turn on it shouldnt be a problem

oh the fans will not come on. from ice cold to about to pop the head gasket kinda hot. someone suggested to me to check the fan switch. kind of an obvious thing i didn't think about but have no idea where its located on these engines..
thanks!

pull the connector off the temp switch and if the fans kick on its the sensor. if they dont kick on give the fans power and see if the come on. if they dont bad fans if they do a break in the wiring.
where is the fan temp switch?
