check fuses, recheck the distributor and the internal, check the igniter, ecu, and check timing.

igniter, coil, ecu, cap, rotor button, or bad ground 1 of them is fucked up.

The Si harness shouldn't be a problem. Its almost identical, since its already a MPFI swap. Like a few ppl stated above check all of the fuses, grounds, internals esp the ignitor.

alright well i went out their and tested everything to see if im even getting power. Well im getting power all the way off the coil inside the distributor but its ust not making it to the rotor. So i went out and got a new cap and rotor thinking that the cap wasmessed up. Still nothing. im thinking bad ground

the main ground that causes problems is on the thermostat, check and see if your cel turns on for a few secs when you turn on your key. if the light does come on the ground is fine.

you do need to be using the original engine harness for the car, dont mix and match harness because they are often pinned differently at the shock towers even if they plug in.

try taking off the cap and turn the thingy around, sry I don't remember what its called but there are only two ways it can go on the cam, it might be upside down.

it can only go in 1 way, the 2 teeth are offset for the distributor. typically the shaft for the rotor has a flat side and they also can only go on 1 way.

coils are ground switched, if it has power, see if the ground (at the coil) pulses when you try to start it. i imagine it won't, but if it does, get a new coil.

you never mentioned the basics though, you should start there, does the computer have power and ground?
get a wiring diagram and follow the circuit down from the ecu.
