Default Having some Volvo Starting problems

Started to get the Volvo 164 running and am having some problems. First, the car just will not start and run smooth. It will run, misfire, run, die, restart, misfire...and so on. While this is happening, there are huge backfires out the exhaust and anout 18in of flame shooting out the carbs. Any suggestions? Just thought I would troll for ideas here.

Check your exhaust fluid man. That **** is flammable.

This car sounds mean as hell with the new cam. Too bad it's a Volvo.

And I'd really like to see this 164. Please PM me. I have an affinity for old school rwd bricks.
    My car is factory....

Every single performance part and or modification it has was made in a factory somewhere.
