I'm not going to pretend like I know too much on the 2G eclipses, but I'm going to assume it can't be any harder or more expensive to turbo the 2G's 4g64 as it is the 3G's 4g64. Even if the mounting is different, I'm sure it wouldn't be hard at all to get different/custom piping to fit the many 3G turbos out on the market. The turbos for the 3G RS/GS platforms have turned out very good numbers for pretty reasonable builds and prices. I know plenty of third generation owners putting out ~150whp with some of their relatively easy and reliable builds.
