A good swap for your Prelude would be an S2000. Not the motor, but the actual car.

jdm f22 and boost, h22's dont take boost as well as f22's, you can run low boost on stock internals and be fine

    LS1.

No, but seriously, from what I hear most people do the H22 if they're not planning on boosting the car. It's a solid motor....I mean it's a honda. of course it is.

    Best of luck, man!

    H2b stands for

    H-series motor with a B-series tranny

I dont recall eversee any one put a B_ series tranny IN a Prelude. Thats actually a better question than the one in the OG thread????

H22 or H23, or K series. you can even go with a 4G63 or SR20DET, nissan bluebird. All engines have been done before, depends on what you want to get out of it.

^^^^ dont listen, rock a clean prelude in a virtual sea of modified hatchbacks and 240's with torn off bumpers. who cares if your not as fast?

i thought all jdm h motors had no number after the a?

but anyhow, H22 are the best option, especially if you get one with a lsd prelude tranny, chipped ecu(mainly to move the redline further down), or build an f22 and boost it, or get a k swap

There's alot of different swaps u can do depending on how much moneis u got!

You can trade in the LS1

    or the SHO

or you can stick with the H and just put it in the back and make it RWD so u can do this....w/o trays
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3E1_JfA8s0

Either way they're gonna cost more than just doing the reg jdm h22 swap... If u wanna be different it'll be hard.. Maybe you can do a k20 head/k24 block frankenstein into the lude?
