ima little nervous about drillin into carbon fiber. plus i dont have a drill.
any tips for drillin carbon fiber?
other than hood pins is there any other safty precautions i can take to make sure the hood doesnt blow up while driving?
yes. put the stock latch on there.
do not take your car to a shop to put hood pins on.
my stock latch looks like its welded onto the hood. either way the one on the cf hood is almost an exact macth. i still wouldnt trust it just cuz of how light it is. i think ime gonna rent a drill and try not to screw up my hood.
I think bucky can do it for you. PM HIM..

you dont need pins- I have had a CF hood for 4 years no pins- stock latch and I have had no problems ever!

installed the hood. the pins were the easiest parts i spent 3hrs trying to get the hood to latch. and 30 mins installin the hood pins. drilling into the carbon fiber was alot more forgiving than i thought. thanks fr the help
