    Default header hitting on tunnel

the stupid ebay header that came with my car is hitting the wall of the tunnel on the driver's side when i put the motor under load and the p.o.s. rubber mounts flex. anybody have a solution? i was thinking putting some exhaust wrap on it to close up the gap between the sheet metal and the header, since its only a 1/16th of an inch gap at best...

any other ideas? im hesitant to break out the ford wrench and start bangin away on either the tunnel or the header...

hammer on tunnel = no more full throttle due to inconvenient placement of the contact point...

i was just seeing if anybody had any other helpful input. like a cheaper way to do it without using a BFH, such as a different flame-proof material

Ahhh, just wrapping it with it still hitting the tunnel is gonna put strain on the studs... New header or BFH.

grind the welds out then slightly reposition the tube and get it welded back together.

How about replacing the mounts with urethane?
