    If the P72 combustion chamber is flatter and a few cc's smaller don't you think that would increase detonation?

    As long as premium fuel is being used the chances of detonation on a stock GS-R/ITR is slim to none anyways.

    I think what i was thinking of is called "quench pads" maybe?

    I know Mike (Vteckidd) said GSR heads were better for that reason, but im not sure. From what reading ive done, the GSR will make a lil better mid-range compared to the pr3's top end. Im not saying your wrong Speedminded, was just asking about the specific detail on the p72's.
