Default Tailights and Instrumental Panel Lights not working.

Okay, probably one of the most common things you find on old cars...

On my rx-7 last time it was a connection loose, anybody else have any ideas ?

Now I got a 91 civic hatch dx, swapped with a si d16a6 motor. This is really buggin me because I hate electrical.

    FUSE IS BLOWN

change your fuse and then good luck on finding the wire that is touching and shorting everything out... mine was a wire on my radio that was open and touching metal when i hit bumps... took a full box of fuses to figure that one out.

your radio/instrument panel/running lights are on the same fuse and run as a circuit... there is one more fuse in the engine bay that keeps the time set and your radio stations programmed (just a constant power).

but yeah check all your fuses and then pull the radio and see if any wires are jiggling then go to your gauge cluster and look for the same... but a new fuse will get you back and running for the time

    good luck sir
