1jz is not a straightforward swap, so honestly if you are even asking its probably not a good job for you. the 7mgte is at least a bolt in swap with some wiring if i remember correctly and may be a better option for you.

as a fellow 2jz member . i would vote for the twin turbo 1jz. but like green91 said, it might be easier to do the 1mgte swap.

1JZ for sure. It's not that hard at all and the 1JZ is SUCH a nicer engine than the 7M.

just makes sure you don't go over 14psi on the 1jz stock twin setup.

thanks celicaGT00 and BlkCD5 ... yeah i plan on pushing about 10psi for driving around.

and is there somewere were i can get a wiring harness already set up for the swap? cause i know you have to extend it by like 2 feet and cut and splice and a bunch of stuff that would be a big pain. I'm trying to get this done ASAP.

as far as i know, the wiring issue is going to be your biggest obstacle. Get someone who has already done the swap to help. You don't want to rush the wiring harness cus it'll **** you in the long run.
