    Default Sunroof Question

    ok my CRX has a sunroof. I dont think its factory because its a DX. So i took a few pics of what i have to work with. I just got the car 2 weeks ago and the sunroof was just siliconed in. So any ideas of how i can make it removable?

    this is done quite frequently to these cars.....

    visit different junkyards everyday for a week and almost guarantee youll find one....rip off the hard ware and put it on yours....


    or home depot up a hinge....

    i had one a while back with the same prob....i tinted a pice of plexi glass made neat and stuck it right back in(came with no glass)...

    Its going to be difficult to get it to seal properly so that it doesn't leak. Thats always a problem with aftermarket sunroofs.

    there are sunroof specialists that you can take it too. They are going to be a little pricey but at least it'll be perfect.

    Dzus quarter turn fasteners and two layers of weatherstripping, one on the window frame then just inside it a layer around the perimeter of the plexi/lexan...

    where? i've been looking for one.. no one wants to do it because it isnt factory. i want mines fixed.. =|
