hrmm.. it's not super hard lol. if u move more than 2MPH you can turn the wheel easily. i, personally, thought it was a hassle at first, but i'm fine. i turn with one hand =D. all in all PS is what makes it easier to turn.take precautions before you remove it though. it's going to make steering stiff when u take PS off.
I give out reps....
i was dribing my brother eclipse and the belt broke to the ps and it was really hard to turn no matter what. thats what i was saying. my civic dx wasnt hard to turnn and it didnt even come with ps.
hrm.. not so sure then. i had ps and now i dont. i'm using a DX rack and pinion and i dont have the ps unit anymore. i'm not sure if tegs have non power steering racks.

I normally loop them and put a resovoir/breather on the third smaller hose, put a tee in it, or take it apart, remove the valves, plug the holes and fill it with grease. Both ways are great and it never gets stiff. There is a guy on honda-tech who sells the resovoir. I can't find the link at the moment though.

There is a difference in feel in taking belt off, removing it all, and correctly plugging and running lines. I have only owned one car with powersteering, the feel without it is SO much better I think![]()
no power steering isn't bad on manual rack cars, but to be honest i would just leave it on the car. it's not really that big of a performance difference
not possible
Unless your going to be tracking your car I say keep it.
i loved the way my civic drove. if i can get my teg like that it would be perfect.
I swapped an EF rack on my DA. I just had to use the Integra tie rods and double up on the passenger side rubber bushing that loops around the rack (used the Civic one and the Integra one). I think you can use a manual rack from a EG. Probably just have to use Integra tie rods and might have to do the same as me with the bushing.
i am using the delete kit from stealthmode.

dont do it man its pointless unless ur making a beast for the track or something..
i personally prefer manual steering to power. much better feel and control over the carOriginally Posted by Fume

you don't want PS, then just take the belt off. If you want PS back, then just put the belt back on...Problem solved......Hope this helped in you decision. Try it
I won't advertise because I'm not paying to
just taking the belt off will make it hard to turn since there is trapped fluid in the rack that cant move. looping the lines leaves room for fluid expansion and makes it easier to turn.
