    Can we use car oil for a motorcycle.

    You can only use car oil if is non-energy conserving. Mobil1 15w-50 works because of this. Better is to use the correct oil though. Just get it from a bike shop tomorrow.

    The short answer is: yes, usually.

    for the most part, engine oil is engine oil... the main thing you have to worry about with bikes is how your clutch will work with a particular oil (which is why the energy conserving is usually bad), and of course a good weight/viscosity for the engine (which is an issue with cars, also).
