Need alarm installed

Hey, folks --

Need to get an alarm installed on my husband's car. It's not an import ('96 Jeep Cherokee), but I thought you guys would know a great place to go.

Want something where the install will be more competent than Best Buy or Circuit City, but this isn't a show car, it's just an everyday driver. We want to protect it from neighborhood punks (been stolen once), but don't need a $2,000 system.

Would appreciate any guidance you could give!
