    Rough cold idle----> FITV
    Rough running temp idle---> IACV

    so what do u suggest we do? it's replaceable? i wonder if it's harmful? it only goes haywire when it's cold and i try to move the car, but if i start up nd leave it alone, it's fine.

    You can remove the FITV, clean it, and adjust it.The IACV can only be cleaned as far as I know. Use carb cleaner. Check the link I posted for more detailed info with pictures. It's not hard at all.

    lol fitv mine was lose and my car kept idling at 3000 rpm but that lil up and down idle happens alot on like obd1 and obd2 cars it makes the car heat up faster my friends cars do it when its really cold the increase and decrease in rpms makes the car heat up quicker dont know why

    My older motor did that, cold idle would slowly go between 1200-1500rpm until you move the car and then it would be rock solid at 1000 or so until everything gets up to temp.

    If it stops once it's warm than it coud be the FITV, if it does it only after its warm could be the IACV....then if it fluctuates, hunts, roams, surges, etc. 100% of the time it could be a vacuum leak.
