depends what kind of RSX.....if its a type s? than no you'll have a very hard time keeping up with a modded K20. normally, you would start with the simple bolt ons, intake, exhaust, and header to free up any HP that was restricted. Think of it like this, the 2AZ-GE, your engine, is breathing through a straw and blowing exhaust out of a straw with all stock parts. Then you do your bolt ons, you're engine will be breathing freely, which opens the door to so many other possibilities....well as far as aftermarket support will take you. the intake alone may have minimal gains, but it allows you to continue to build on that and produce more power.

I personally think, if you are fine with the way your car looks, than maybe you should save up for a turbo. you're 9.5 compression ratio is almost optimal and the engine placement is perfect so you won't have THAT much lag. It may be pricey but in the end, I think you would love it. Also, getting some aftermarket springs would be good too.

thats my 2 cents, if I'm wrong with some of my views, someone, feel free to correct me

Actually, most of those statments are incorrect when applied to Toyota. Call K&N and ask which vehicle make is hardest to make a intake kit for that makes their advertised power increases.... Toyota, because they do it right from the factory. Also, for headers, the Tc has a cat in the header, which equals no replacment per Emmisions testing guideines...
