gas mileage...94 ex civic..bone stock...180k mi
on the highway it seems im getting 34-36mpg(at half tank im at 200 mi) but then city is somewhere around 18-20mpg....(shifting at 25-3k 40-50% throttle,GRANNY like a MF). when i start off in first n second the gas needle moves a lil then goes back close to orginal mark when i reach fifth.
coil,wires,plugs are new.intake clean.
calculate your MPG correctly then post up again

Probably the floater in the tank or a gauge cluster issue that causes the needle to move inconsistently!

when i had my gsr i would get about 350, 360 if i pushed to a tank....the best i got in my gsr was 32mpg
first time i filled i think it was 10.2....filled this morning 9.8(wasnt empty empty, but didnt wanna find empty on the turnpike)

with how many miles to that tank? and was it 9.8 or 10.2?
MPG calculation: Miles per tank / Gallons filled = MPG

Wow yall boys get some good MPGs, with the LS/VTEC in the CRX on a fill up of about 10 gallons I only get about 240 miles. If I do ALOT of hwy driving then maybe 280 but never over 300.
And I barely ever VTECH it.

i get at least 300 mpTANK. that's about right...

VTECH burns too much gas
when i had my gsr i hit vtec....alot and still got at least 300 miles per tank(28-29mpg city driving..3-15miles per trip)
thats what i get in my 94 civic sedan , and thats with intake, muffler a occasionally gettin on it
in my LS teggy, i only get about 22 in city and 30 on highway, all i got is intake though, and thats when i baby it..

Your complaining about 34 mpg? Are you serious? Dude.. I get like 22-23 on the highway, with my de fueling tune engaged. You should not be worried at all for getting that kind of mileage.

not to thread whore, but i been having issues lately with my mostly stock ls also. I used to be at like 160-180 at half tank mark but for the past 5 tanks i have not got a consistent mpg and for some reason it will only be at like 110 or so at half tank???? car runs fine so i thinkin maybe its a problem with the gauge cluster or the tank floater?? any ideas???? i gettin ABOUT 24 mpg city (shiftin at 3-4k) on short trips to school and work. Is this bad?
