    You could install a 3" cat(get a good one.... they don't hurt performance THAT much) and tune the car properly. It will pass.
    You are correct. An OBD2 with antifoulers drilled in will not throw a CEL and therefore pass emissions despite the black crud coming out the back.

    New car:
    95 S14 with RB25DET (stock boost)

    Old car:
    Turbo S2000 400hp/285tq on 9:1 comp & 11psi

    yup, and they sell em at autozone.


    you just gotta make sure the tester will pass you on visual
