Ok.... I have seen good points, and I think I can get the power I am looking for out of my d16. BUT..... can I do a B16 swap for the same price of a Turbo kit for my D16? If that is the case would I not be better off going with the B16 because I can keep on building and building on the B16 and get even more power in the long run? BUT AGAIN... I also see the point if I Blow the D16 I can replace it for pretty cheep. Just looking for opinions on that. If I go with the D16 will the stock internals hold a turbo? and if not what should I do to prepare for the turbo. I would like to at least port and polish the head to get some extra power. and also should I put a vtec head on my y7? or is the non-vtec head just as good. I have heard that the y7 motors put down more torque than the y8's. so any comments on that?
