rebuild motor car wont fire up
Fresh rebuilt, now the car won't starts.. cranks over but won't start. Only code is the one for coolant temp. checked resistance on igniter, the injectors, and coil and they are all fine. it has spark and fuel pressure at the rail. any help would be appreciated on why it's not starting.
edit: car is 1990 prelude b20a swap 4ws.

did you adjust the valves? if it sounds like it has no compression, it probably doesn't.

maybe an ecu fuse? i had that problem

Double check timing and do a compression test. If there fuel and fire then it needs compression.
If everything checks out make sure the injectors are firing, just because there is fuel pressure doesnt mean those boys are firing.
check spark and fuel first. if it works, then its another problem like no compression due to ring gap.
we reset the timing--it sputtered then backfired out the throttle body--there is pressure in the fuel rail but gotta check the injectors for power-thanks for the input ill keep yall posted

if it sputters and acts crazy the distributor could be 180 degrees out. check it.
Who knows?
check firing order, and make sure you did a valve adjustment if you took apart the head etc.

Make sure the engine is timed right. With the #1 cylinder on the compression stroke, the rotor button should be pointing at the #1 terminal on the cap. Check the firing order. Sounds like you are having some sort of timing issue.

If ur injector are working, than it must have rinse ur cylinder wall clean of oil. You might wanna drop a teaspoon of oil in each cylinder to help seal the compression better. This might help you out after you fix ur timing.
guys, he said he double checked the timing.
i agree with hondabuilder....check your distributor and make sure its not 180 degrees out.
