I bought some wheels from them. I talked to the guy on the phone he was polite and easy to work with. Delivery was pretty quick.

Yeah if you call him and you are spending money he is cool, but if you just call and are not spending just asking questions yeah, he can be a smart-ass, but hey, I understand, if I owned a JDM import warehouse I would like money to be made everytime I answer the phone. The only thing I dont like about Hmotors is you cannot order directly online.
you gotta understand that Steves been in business for like 10 years, and he gets over 1000 phone calls a day from people just pestering him or asking HOW TO questions.
Hes there to answer questions about his product, not to give swap advice, or what motor works best with what.
He was a little stand offish with me in the beginning,and i dont blame him. now, we are cool and he remembers me by name. Cant say enough about his SERVICE and QUALITY.
He also doesnt want you ordering online because he wants ot make sure you get the right product. Many people order the wrong thing he wants to double check he ships you exactly what you are wanting.

Yeah Steve is a nice dude, Me an him has done bussiness for the past 9 years, great guy, he doesnt like dumbass kids calling asking dumbass kids questions, if you dont know what you want, or need ,or know what your doing then dont call him, I also used TigerJapanes.com good guys there too , cheaper also, an great motors, thanks hope this clears this up about steve!
HMOTORSONLINE is the best for swaps, they warranty, and have great service, have gotten many many swaps from him.
TIGERJAP, They are hit or miss, sometimes you get a good motor, sometimes you get a **** one. They are good dudes though.

hmotorsonline are realy good that where i got my h22 and theres another good one ive heard of which is jdmaddiction which is located in florida.
jdmaddiction----- Sucks bought a few from them, an got one good one, others where junk, good throw out there, though....not to mention they gave my shop a hard time in getting us another one, also

well, like i said he was a **** to me. i wasnt calling asking for advice. i had cash in hand and asked a simple question about what the swap came with to make sure i knew what the deal was. then he went on a rant about rhd and jdm and whatever. it was totally un-needed. i dont give a **** if he gets a million calls a day. you dont treat a customer that way. all he had to to do was answer my question and he would have had a credit card number right then. intead he gets nothing but bad exposure from me. i wont do business with him and dont recommend him either....no matter what anyone says.
come to think of it he was quite rude until i gave him my card number. i asked a simple question, i was wanting the most expensive front end conversion, type-r lip, black housing headlights, hid's, side markers. he said "so you want the chrome or black housing headlights?" and i said "yes black housing, oh and does that come with hid's?" man he had a fit! i gues all black housing headlights come with hid's or something! and beyond that, they looked like they were thrown together! not all the same screws, the driver side aimed way off and down... but being a noob i just thought the way he acted was normal!
thats strange ppl have had these problems i called and asked a bunch of questions and the guy was real nice to me i wanted to get the newest jdm ls i could they were out of stock of the 95 ones so he told me he would upgrade it to a 99 one with 45k on it for the same price!!! so i cant say that i didnt have a great experience i would do business again though only thing i can say is if you know someone with a dock it helps as lift gate delivery sure makes it alot more expensive. my motor came shipped really well ill post a pic
it was really clean little to no oil or dirt on the motor and it didnt have any writing on the vc as most engine places have
