    what are the engine specs ? they comin out turboed ? or not yet ?

    They never will. The fuel economy would be way too bad to foresee them ever releasing a turbo rotary again, unless it was in supercar trim and cost over $70K. People already complain about the 16-17mpg city and 20-22mpg highway the rx-8 gets.

    There is a 16x 1.6L rotary that is almost ready for production it seems. I want to see them make a 24x 2.4L 3-rotor motor with like 380hp, and then shove it into a 2800 pound 2-seater with a 6spd transmission. That would bring the full Japan sports car battle back on between the gtr and rx... in my opinion the r33,r34 gtr and fd3s rx-7 are the best cars to ever come out of japan performance wise.
