honestly man i see so many cars come into work with 300k+ miles that still run like they are new, and havent ran synthetics, just regular fossil oil changes every 3-5k. even in my own vehicles i run regular old oil.

Castrol GTX is what I've run in other cars, I just feel that the extra wear and tear on oil caused by a turbo motor warrants a synthetic. Get your oil tested at blackstone and they'll tell you how long it should last, most synthetics will last upwards of 7K miles according to their analysis results.
