    Won't the bottom of the oil cap be white if he has a blown headgasket?

    I would drain all the coolant out and add some few afterwards. Have the heater on, so it can circulate better. I had that same problem with my wrx and doing that help'd out.

    its a lil late for that, as of about 3 this morning that engine is out of the car. but preciate the help anyways.
    i'm convinced its spmething to do with the fan, considering even when the car was at the redline on the "heat-o-meter" the cooling fan was still not on. im just not sure what it could be.
