honda engine problems?

hey guys, i have a D15B7 TURD in my del sol and just yesterday it started sputtering in low RPM's in all gears, now it sputters at 3k RPM. its not a major problem being that i dont tend to go fast in the car, but i'd like to fix this problem!

do i need new;
spark plugs, wires
headgasket
...etc...???

i seem to have the same problem as clean_sol, except mine now only does it in mid range rpm's. and i have a cel! ill keep you updated as soon as i find out the code

If it sputters so high only thing I can think of is a misfire.

Could be anything - TPS, etc. We need the code(s) that the cars are throwing.

one of the guys here has the SNAP-ON engine diagnostics system that can check any vehicle made. when i get a second to find out what my CEL code is ill check back with ya'll and find out the next move needed to take to fix the prob.

i found my problem since the CEL did not continue siince OBD1 clears the CEL after you shut off the engine. i drove the car around the lot and it started again so i pulled into the shop and found a shattered pigtail on the injector! i held it in my hand and it started doing its nonsense really bad. then i push it in and held it in and it sounded fine!

i need a set of 4 obd1 injector pigtails!!!!

does it sputter when you try to accelerate? mine did that once just need new spark plugs

yeah we disonnected my TPS and my sputtering at 1500 stopped, so im glad i didnt have any injector issues haha. i think i need a fuel filter pretty bad as well.

i had the same problem with the same engine and there was oil in my cylinders

like i said the pig tail for the #2 injector works, its just that the plastic clip was cracked and the connection was bad.

i replaced the pig tail with one i had from some old harness laying around. problem solved!!!
